The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Electrophysiology (EP) team at Peninsula Cardiology Associates, headed by Dr Emmanuel Nsah, diagnose, treat and manage patients with heart rhythm abnormalities such as:
To diagnose or treat some of these heart rhythm abnormalities or physiologic changes in the heart Dr. Nsah will perform more invasive procedures at Peninsula Regional Medical Center such as a catheter ablation or the implantation of a cardiac device including loop recorders, pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICD), and cardiac resynchronization pacemakers and ICDs.
In addition to these procedures, Dr. Nsah routinely performs tilt table testing and electrophysiology (EPS) testing at Peninsula Regional Medical Center to assist in diagnosing or assessing a heart rhythm problem.
After any of the above procedures Dr Nsah and his team will follow your care at our Peninsula Cardiology Offices. In addition to performing in office testing of each patient’s implanted device, we offer remote follow up. Our CRM Nurse has the technology to follow certain device patients remotely using the Medtronic Care Link, Boston Scientific Latitude, and St. Jude Merlin.Net systems. These services allow patients to have their cardiac devices monitored from home between routine office appointments. Our CRM and EP team also offer transtelephonic monitoring for our pacemaker patients. In office testing is offered in both our Salisbury and Berlin offices.
To schedule an evaluation of your pacemaker, defibrillator or loop recorder or to see Dr Nsah please call 410-749-8906 or visit our Patient Portal.
