FINANCIAL

We request payment for services not covered by insurance at the time of your visit unless other financial arrangements have been made. Generally, this means you are responsible for payment at the time of your first examination, as well as subsequent office visits. Visa and MasterCard are accepted for your convenience.

We will submit any diagnostic testing directly to your insurance company. We will also submit to a secondary carrier if you have one, except in the case of outpatient services. Balances remaining after insurance payment are the patient's responsibility.

Some insurance companies will pay you directly. We need to stress that, in this case, we expect your payment promptly. Also, you are always responsible for deductible and co-insurance (usually 20%).
If you anticipate any sort of financial difficulty, please bring this to the attention of our financial counselor at the earliest possible time. We will always work with you when you are willing to work with us.

Finally, the obligation for the prompt payment of your account rests solely with you. While we will assist you, it is ultimately your responsibility to settle your account quickly and to collect from your insurance company, particularly when that company is slow in making payment.
